Cylinders are small tanks used to move a variety of gases in both liquid and gas phases. The use of this liquefied gas cylinder contains the following points to eliminate possible dangers.
- The location of the cylinders must be clear to everyone.
- All warning signs such as the danger of explosion, hot welding, smoking prohibition and other items must be installed at the place of use or maintenance of gas cylinders.
- The storage and installation of the cylinders must be away from any kind of spark or flame source, dry and well ventilated.
- Ventilation in installation and storage areas should be such as to prevent gas accumulation.
- When moving the cylinder, make sure that the cylinder outlet valve is tight and install the safety cap on it.
- If the cylinders are used outdoors, make sure they are away from direct sunlight.
- Remember that cylinders must be protected from contact with frozen ground, snow, water, salt, corrosion, rust, flame, heat and high temperatures.
- The cylinder must always be standing and to be more sure, use a belt to attach the cylinder to the wall and also ensure its balance.
- To maintain the cylinders, it is necessary to distinguish between two types, empty and full, and keep them separate.
- When storing gas cylinders, categorize them according to their contents and store each item in a separate place.
